Products with a similar active-ingredient profile are surfaced as alternatives. The comparison is objective and data-driven; we do not make claims about efficacy or skin compatibility.
Prices are sourced from publicly available retailer pages and licensed data services across 13 approved Canadian retailers. Prices are refreshed twice daily. Always verify the final price at checkout, as retailer pricing can change at any time. Rows marked with an asterisk (*) are estimates and may not reflect the current shelf price.
When we are unable to confirm a live price from a retailer in real time, we display an estimated price based on historical data. These are clearly marked. We recommend verifying at the retailer's website or in-store before making a purchase decision.
Yes. The current version of SkinCompass is designed for Canadian shoppers. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and sourced from Canadian retailers. International support may be added in a future update.
Open the Saved tab, swipe left on any item and tap Remove. To remove all items at once, use the Edit button in the top-right corner. SkinCompass stores only an anonymous device identifier — no account or personal data is required.
No. SkinCompass is an independent discovery tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any cosmetics brand or retailer. We participate in the Amazon Associates Canada affiliate program, which means we may earn a small commission if you purchase through an Amazon link — at no additional cost to you. This does not influence how products are ranked or presented.
Try searching by product name instead. Our database is regularly updated, but not all products are available yet. If a product you expect to find is consistently missing, let us know at support@skincompass.ca and we'll look into adding it.
Very little. We use an anonymous device ID (a random identifier generated on your device) to sync your saved items. We do not collect your name, email, location, or any other personal information. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
SkinCompass is available on the Apple App Store for iPhone.
